    "Almost perfect" on by Brian71489

Pros: Very cheap, seems to be durable, expandable memory, and sansa fixed the bugs from previous models

Cons: You have to use Sansa Media Converter to convert videos, very boring menu screen

Summary: Sansa has finally done it. I just picked up the 8 gig version of the fuze for 129.99 and its well worth it, this is way better than ipod for many reasons, but mainly because expandable memory. I played through just about all of my music (roughly a gig) without any problem. Sansa fixed all of the bugs that were on the older models, and the fuze is just about perfect. Sansa>Ipod

"I have had 2 of these, great only short term...." on by Ceci25

Pros: I LOVE love love the simplicity. The menu is easy, it doesn't take long to charge, it's pretty sturdy (I tend to drop things often) and the wheel worked great.

Cons: The MP3 was lovely for about 4-6 months, then it started failing. I would get a fuzzy or white screen, the volume would rise by itself (REALLY! I had it on mute and it still was too loud for me). The menu and wheel buttons started malfunctioning...

Summary: All in all, I would not get this again. Not the best quality at all. Great as a gift for the kids as a first MP3, but not as a long use user as myself would ever buy again. I don't recommmend it. It's a bummer too, considering the price.

"Great at first, but sucks after about 120 days" on by usmctanker242

Pros: Easy to use, good sound quality, video's were nice and crisp. Good price too (bought x-mas 2008 for $100 from Best Buy)

Cons: Quality is a bit lacking. I've had 3 so far, 2 worked good for about 3-4 months and then broke down, one the wheel stopped turning, the other the battery is 100% dead. The other one was a refurbished piece of **** replacement that never worked.

Summary: Bought my first Sansa 4GB Blue a while back, worked great for a few months, then the wheel completely locked up, wouldn't spin at all. Contacted Sansa. I sent it back (at their expense) they sent me what they said was a new one. When I got it, it was a refurbished piece of ****. The screen was bowed, like a bubble, instead of flat. It didn't charge, and didn't work. After an hour or so the whole thing physically fell apart. Contacted Sansa again, and after an investigation (they accused me of destroying it for some reason) which took about 3 weeks, they sent me another one. This worked good for a bout 5 months, but now the battery is 100% dead and even after charging for 3-4 hours, when it says it has a full charge, I unplug it from the computer and when I turn it on, it says "System unable to start, battery too low".. I'm currently trying to get a hold of them for another replacement, although I had to cut my losses and buy an Ipod Nano 8GB as a suitable replacement. VERY HAPPY with the IPod and that's what I would recommend if you don't want any of these Sansa hassles.

    Summary: It works for now

"Great player for a first time MP3 user" on by allthatjazz42

Pros: Great sound experiance. Easy to load, easy to use. Additional card slot for more memory, Radio, Sizs and controls response. I more than got my moneys worth with this player. Music can come from any service

Cons: Instruction cards were not very helpful, I logged onto the Sansa site to get a full description of the options, controls etc.

Summary: I waited a long time to buy one of these being an old time big box user and I am really happy with the FUZE. So many tech gadgets these days are more effort to use than they are worth. The FUZE is not one. Also, I really have to recommend the sound qualityt again. I have partial hearing loss and I am hearing sounds I have not heard for a long time with this player.
