"I came back to San Disk"
Pros: Sounds decent, easy to use, store alot (once I get an 8GB micro SD), well built
Cons: The volume scrolly thing can adjust in your pocket and putting the unit on hold can be annoying because there is no volume normalization feature.
Summary: I like this unit. I bought a Sansa view about 10 months ago and it sucked. I got one of the units that had the 7 hour battery. It would just mysteriously turn on for no reason. The fuse is a nice unit, the sound quality is good enough, I'm using stock Sony A810 earbuds with it and it sounds quite nice. I'm in desperate need of an 8GB micro SD as I have only 300MB left in main memory. Once the card is in place, this will be my highest capacity unit.
Back to the dynamic normalizer that is missing from this unit. Sony has the feature on thier players to compensate for songs that were recorded at lower volume levels. Its nice not having to constantly adjust the volume between songs. When you have the hold switch on, which you need if the fuse is in your pocket, its kind of nuisance to adjust the volume quickly. Other than that, the fuse is a solid unit that sounds damn nice and has good radio reception. I also like that one sample track by Alias & Ehren, its pretty awsome. PS: I got the black one.
