"Great little player, Great price!"
Pros: Small, expandable memory, very simple and intuitive to use. No software required to transfer music. You can simply drag and drop from your PC Music folder to the Music folder on the player. FM radio built in. Voice recorder also built in.
Cons: Interface is not that spectacular, limited color choices for wallpaper. Would be nice if you could use your photos as backgrounds.
Summary: I got this as part of a birthday present for my fiancé to move her up from her Shuffle. All she really wanted was a small player with a screen so she could see what was playing.
One of her biggest complaints was with iTunes, one that I also shared. She was instantly pleased when we first connected the Fuse to her laptop and it popped up just like a USB drive. It was so much quicker and simpler to just drag and drop from her music folder over to the music folder on the Fuse. Same goes with photos.
The FM radio was a nice bonus as well. It sounds great and picks up remarkable well for no external antenna.
She was really excited about the voice recorder, her first thought was just voice notes for grocery lists and just play it back while she's shopping.
I love the feel and the design of the player. I'm a sucker for blue LEDs so the back light around the dial pad just makes me smile ;) It has a great sound to it. It doesn't feel cheap or shoddy, but still light enough that you won't even notice you have it on you.
Over all, we are both happy with the Sansa Fuse and I prefer it's size, design and ease of transferring songs to that of my 60gb video iPod. I also love that I can pull my 8gb Micro SD card out of my Samsung Instinct, place it in her Fuse and play my music. I plan on getting her an 8gb card to bump up her storage so she has a place to store more music and photos on the go.
