"Great For The Price" on by LaZoRMix
Pros: Small, Lightweight, One of the few flash players that you can browse the songs during playback, a decent case is avaible (about 10$) That extra case has a belt clip. On The Go Playlists
Cons: No army of geeks on a forum, only the san disk official one
Summary: its a really good buy

"Great MP3 player!" on by CoMpMaStErRyAn
Pros: Small, lightweight, built in fm-radio & voice recorder
Cons: Backlit display is poorly lit, voice recorder microphone is muffled and recordings are low-quality
Summary: I had an iPod video, which I sold to buy a Kodak Easyshare V550 digital camera. I must admit, this does not compare to an iPod, but for the price it is excellent. I love how it has a built-in FM tuner and a voice recorder. The indigo backlit display is a nice touch, but it does not evenly light up the whole screen. I also like how it is light-weight and only uses 1 AAA battery. Overall, this is excellent for the price!

"Subscription service bugs solved" on by artyman
Pros: Price and ease of use
Cons: Initial pains, lousy documentation, poor backlight
Summary: This is a pretty good machine for the price. It's FM radio picks up more stations than my home receiver! But setting up the playlists and deleting songs should not be attemepted outside of WinMedia.
I had coniptions getting it to work with Yahoo and Rhapsody music subscriptions. You must download a patch for Media 10 from MS, download firmware from Sans, make sure that the player is set to MTP and use only USB2. Even the Sans techs didn't know about the USB2 requirement (it will transfer purchased and ripped music with USB1.1).
However, once you go through all that nonsense to get what should be a plug-and-play unit to work, it works just fine. I like the AAA power, and battery life is several hours. The recorder is a joke, but the radio is nice. The plastic jacket works but looks stupid. Actually I think the whole unit looks pretty bad - kind of mid '70s Japanese design. If you have large hands and poor eyesight, you are going to be frustrated.
