    "Old Faithful" on by trailtick

    Pros: always ready

    Cons: none i can find

Summary: I think this is the best player of its class and price. i have had a lot of these low priced players. this one is the best. no battery to charge so it's always ready just keep fresh batterys handy. it supports music services like napster and others. not many do at this price range. it has a sleep timer and fm tuner that has pretty good reception. good transfer speeds. even with music to go services.that was my gripe with other players in this price range way to slow. trust me you wont beat this one at this price.

"Wonderful compact MP3 player for on-the-go or at home/office considering good price" on by Knicksfan181

Pros: Small/compact, good sound quality, easy to add songs, sound recordings, stopwatch, & more features, memory capacity

Cons: Backlight goes out at 1/2 full battery, "favorites" song doesn't work

Summary: This was a present I got early 2007. It has been such a great MP3. Though, it has some problems. Originally my family, bought one, but it had some problems (the screen froze after adding a song -could no longer listen to songs). Then they exchanged it and got another one, but that had problem too (sound recordings didn't work at all).

Finally, they exchanged it one more time and this is what I have. The only real problem I have is that the backlight doesn't work once the battery is 1/2 drained. Other than that it is great. I can hold lots of songs on it (over 200 depending on the size). No AM radio, but the FM is great...easy scanning for radio stations.

It's compact and really easy to use. A great deal for $30-40!

"Doesn't last for long!" on by elliekarl

    Pros: Price and simplicity

    Cons: Quality/longevity

Summary: This product is attractive if you want an MP3 player without too many bells and whistles. It has a sleep mode, and the controls are fairly easy to get used to. However, 2 of these have failed within the last 6 months. They feel cheap (light plastic), and stop working WAY too soon!

"My first Mp3 player---good value." on by sandykho

Pros: Takes common AAA battery with good battery life. When powered down and then turned back on it starts my audio book right where I left off if I don't push any other controls. Has auto shut off.

Cons: Arm band slips on my arm. Font on screen difficult to read without my glasses. Instruction book a bit vague.

Summary: This is my first MP3 player. I purchased it primarily for listening to audio books. Having come from a cassette player for my audio books, this is a dream come true. Very small, very portable, takes 1 small AAA battery. Love the drag and drop method of adding files. I sort of wish that I had sprung for a 2 gig model.

"Just Quits Working !" on by grant2702

Pros: Easy to drag and drop music thru Medai Player

Cons: Doesn't work for very long

Summary: The first one I purchased lasted about 3 weeks and froze up. Went to return it later in the day and it started up again, still returned it for another one. Figured it was only a matter of time before it happened again. The second one lasted about 45 minutes and froze up, never turned on again ! Returned Both ! AVOID !!!!!
