"Went from Zune to Zune, fell in love with Sansa m250." on by Celtic_Ghost
Pros: -Uses AAA battery
-Plays many formats of music (mp3, wma, etc.)
-Lightweight
-Best bang for your buckCons: -Shape
-A bit bulky
-Monotonous screenSummary: This mp3 player is the best that I have had ever used. I first started with the one gigabyte m240, but felt the need to get a bigger (and smaller) player. The design worried me because it is big, and the shape is peculiar. It sits funny in the pocket and is not as discrete as say an iPod or Zune. So I ended up with a Zune for my upgrade. This was so cool; it played music as well as movies with an attractive 1.8 inch screen. The downfall was the battery life. I was glad I had purchased the two year warranty, else I would have been out $147. The battery died at a half charge, so I only had a 12 hour life time, and could not change the battery. I swapped the Zune out for another. And another.
This happened three times, and I was fed up with this performance. My father loves the fact that the Sansa uses a AAA battery, and bought multiple m250s for the future since everyone wants an iPod. I ended up buying one of these, and am glad I have. I need not to worry about iTunes or Zunetunes. I can use just about any program out there to put music onto my player, and can swap out batteries anytime I need to. This is probably the best feature that I can stress. I hear people laughing at the player, saying how it isn't as cool as an iPod, but I do not need to hook up my player for hours at a time to charge it up, cutting out time to listen to my music. And once the battery is dead, you have to buy another player or buy an expensive battery to replace the dead one. And, when you go back packing through Europe, you can't plug the iPod into an outlet, they differ from American outlets. So you are out of luck buddy if you take your fancy iPod or Zune to Europe for some good old back packing.
As stated before, I am glad that I have bought yet another one of these Sansa players. I cannot stress how great this product really is. It is more versatile than any other product on the market. It holds a lot of music. If you want more, you can easily switch out songs for others. No one really needs 120 gigabytes worth of music. No one will ever listen to that much music. They end up skipping through most of it.
So if you want something for usability, portability, and for damn near dirt cheap, get the Sansa m200 series music player. You will not be disappointed.
