Pros: Three points. 1)You can transcode using Mediacoder (free) 2)Decent video processing for it's time and 3)the same high quality sound that was in the original fuze and clip line. Perhaps a fouth, the bundled earphones are easily $20.

Cons: SanDisk needs to improve it's MediaConverter software to handle standard online video codecs. Also, it wasn't clear if the SlotRadio sdhc cards work on this unit.

Summary: I originally purchased this unit (16gb)for $199 two years ago and have just purchased it again for $99 from Amazon 2 years later, so that should tell you how decent the unit is. Solid construction and with the firmware updates works well.
