"Just right for beginners"
Pros: drag-and-drop file loading (for xp), compact desgin, easy connection
Cons: Controls can be difficult to use, bad for large hands, headphone/radio are poor quality
Summary: I recived this mp3 player a year or two ago. I was really excited because it was the first mp3 player I ever got. Personally I don't really need anything else. To put songs onto the player (with windows xp), you simply copy and paste. No need to mess (or lose) with connector cords (well maybe the usb extention that comes with the player).
The headphone lanyard that came with the player (with a non-removable radio) broke on mine so I stopped using them and made a cord to go around my neck. I bought sony headphones instead because I hate the earbuds that came with it. The earbuds never fit in my ears anyway.
I find that the controls are easy to use once you get the hang of it. However at first it is difficult to shut off the play. I simply hold the play button until I see the word byebye pop onto the screen. To pause, just hold the play button for a second.
Changing songs is tricky, but once master is not easy forgotten. Just flick the button all the way right (oh the side) and the song should change.
To enter the menu, you must push the side button and the menu should pop up. Scroll through the menu using the side dial and push it to the right and release.
