Pros: *Superior in build quality to every other HDD player in the market. excellent materials used for the casing and internal components. *MADE IN JAPAN! (to me it means something and justifies costing $100 than the ipod) *Now firmware upgradeable through so
Cons: *HD3 is coming out soon...(but ugly design, in my opinion, and not magensium alloy casing, weighs more, smidge bigger...) *no remote included. *have to ship to texas for the upgrade.

"THIS is Joke, right?Do NOT Buy this!"
Pros: Incredibly small, very nice screen, Very nice sound quality.
Cons: It will ONLY play proprietary Sony files (they go in BUT THEY DO NOT COME BACK OUT!-Ever!) And the ripping software can is SLOW. And you have to take the cradle, the USB cord AND the AC adapter to one of 3 (and 3 only) computers to (very slowly) rip song

"WHY does Sony take a Jewel and ruin it????"
Pros: Sony Name. Great design, and innovations, long battery life.
Cons: SONY...are you reading this?? Lets Review. Betamax...flop for consumers...Mini Disc...Flop ....C'mon Sony...you make GREAT products, why oh why would you ruin your product by not including MP3 and WMA support??? Standards MAKE a product not break it.
