"Worthless for Listeners of Podcasts & Audiobooks"
Pros: Compact design
Cons: Has no resume feature
Summary: This product has a serious flaw as it does not have a resume feature. That means that the unit resets itself when you shut it off. For example, if you are listening to an hour-long podcast while driving and turn the unit off after twenty minutes, the unit will automatically start from the beginning of the same podcast again. It does not remember at which point the power was turned off. I called Sony and they confirmed that it lacks this feature. Oddly, I did own the older NWE-505 model and that allowed one to resume from the exact point that the unit was powered down.
