"Great player for price but look at sony S-Series too"
Pros: great sound
bright high resolution screen
drag and drop file transfer
good navigation
radio
video, picture and podcast supportCons: no "sens-me" song selection
Summary: The player doesn't have amazing features or anything really dazzling but it's still a good buy. The music sounds great, the navigation and menu are good, it supports pictures and video and even podcasts. The screen looks great, the metallic feel and look makes the player feel like the sony quality one would expect. The "button" style keys (as opposed to the touch sensitive ones) are good for blind navigating. Most of all however, sony has made this player as simple and friendly as possible. If your like me and not a fan of itunes this player uses "drag and drop" for file transfer as well as support for many programs including itunes (if that is your thing).
no intelligent shuffle
fewer features than S-Series (backgrounds, screen savers etc)
"throw away headphones"
(all cons are fixed on the s-series)
I got this player a week ago and found it great. It was simple and fast to load up songs and from the use i got out of it (everyday to a from class) i had practically no problems with it. The thing was i accidentally got the e-series model instead of the s-series. So i returned it, paid the extra 10 bucks and went up to the s-series. This is a great player if simple playback is all you need, but i would say pay the extra 10 bucks and upgrade to the s-series. Its what i have now and the extra money is more than worth it.
