"BEWARE! NOT SWEAT RESISTANT!"
Pros: Sexy design, ultra comfortable as you lose completely the wires. Good sound quality. Pretty good idea, as it could have been the best mp3 player for working out.
Cons: NOT SWEAT / MOISTURE RESISTANT. Kind of a joke since its market is focused on people who will use it mainly for working out, jogging, etc. Volume will max out, and the song-skipping-wheel will not function at all.
Summary: I?m highly disappointed with this product. The whole idea of working out without hassling with wires made me want this mp3 player since it was announced a while back at CES. Couldn?t wait for it to hit stores, so I ordered from the sonystyle store. When I finally got it, I went to the gym and after jogging for 30 minutes with it, the controls become irresponsive. Volume maxes out and it didn?t lower if I pressed it. Can?t skip songs nor get zappin to work. I am so pissed off that a product like this that it will be used by people for working out can?t get sweat on it. I guess the testing team is a bunch of nerds who just tested it jumping or walking around their cubicles for about 2 minutes.
If you are thinking of buying this and you are planning on using it to run or for working out, I would advise you to wait and see if Sony can address this big issue. If you workout without sweating, then go ahead. I guess that?s the way Sony thinks people do exercise, without sweating.

Hey , this is not correct. The product is not water resistant... Its cool , you can very well use it while jogging, working outs, dancing etc... You need not to be disappointed. Sony is too conscious about their products, they did testing and during testing found this its not water resistant but is definately sweat resistant. Sony will never launch anything that can affect their quality.

Wow, I came up here to write the exact same thing! I ran for about 4 miles and the players volume soared and then shut down. It took me about 10 seconds to realize that the moisture must have been the culprit :( I actually made a joke to a friend that the only thing that I didn't like about this product was that it wasn't water proof! Looks like the joke was on me!!! :(
I guess I will have to be a bit more careful on how much sweat gets on it when I run. After weeks of sit ups with my old wire mp3 player falling out of my pocket it finally broke. I love everything else about this product.
1) No wires
2) Easy to operate while running.
3) Ease of use for popping files on and off with USB connection.
4) I like the sound qualtiy and sound volume.
I guess it's the first of it's kind, so, a few more bugs to work out I guess..
Wish I would have read the user aboves review before I purchased the product.
Sweat and electronics are not going to mix.Make the next version water proof!
