"GREAT product with unbelievable sound and features!" on by madscidrx08

Pros: Love the fm radio, ability to play mp3, wma, and wav files. Timer/Sleep/Countdown function, random play options, bookmark features, radio station recording (which is crystal clear) and clock/date feature. Comes in two colors silver or black

Cons: Rechargeable battery can only recharge through usb unless you buy an adapter and if you leave the gigabeat in a place for a few days it will discharge itself especially in a car in mild 50-60 weather The stock headphones suck

Summary: Get this player as they are hard to find and discontinued by Toshiba. It is based on the Microsoft Zune platform (Toshiba makes the zunes for Microsoft) and has most of the same features for about half the price. You can get one from around 50-65 bucks just shop around. The size is very small the size of an cigarette lighter. GO OUT AND GET IT!
Would rate 5 stars except for battery issues but other than that a Great buy!

"Solid MP3 player, great value for money" on by wpa_83642

Pros: FM tuner, FM recorder, great sound, easy to use, no software to install

Cons: Only 2GB, cannot view pictures while listening to music

Summary: I love this tiny player. Solid and rugged construction for the price - $59.99 at Office Depot. The sound was loud enough for me, even at the lowest level. What I loved most is the FM tuner and recorder because I like to listen to NPR radio. This allows me to easily record a radio show when I'm interrupted.

It fulfils its primary function as an MP3 player very well. You can use Windows Media Player to transfer music and pictures to it. No special software required. The only downside is its limited capacity to store 2GB of files. Wish they had a larger capacity model (with the same features) or a way to expand the storage (like the Sansa models).

But all in all, a very excellent MP3 player. I highly recommend it.

"High quality device" on by Brian J

Pros: Sturdy construction, lightweight, great sound

Cons: Screen a bit small, could be thinner

Summary: For a small MP3 player to use when working out, this is an excellent device. The controls seem to be very high quality and it's light and small. Sound quality is superb. The UI is functional if not super flashy. The FM radio does a better job of picking up stations than most devices this size I'ved used. Highly recommended.
