"Great improvements but screen still a bad compromise"
Pros: HD Radio, OLED, Windows CE, Internet Explorer
Cons: Screen still too small
Summary: From the brief CNET description it sounds great. It seems to solve some minor drawbacks of the iTouch. On the other hand the screen is still too small--if it isn't going to be a cell phone why keep it so small? Why the compromise? Why not 4.3 inches or even five? A pure MP3 is likely to be smaller anyway.
On the other hand there are some great features of the iTouch that I hope will not be missing from the Zune, such as direct connectivity to You Tube, Maps and GPS for the iPhone, etc. These can be game killers when Apple launches its own upgrades.

What on Gods green earth are you talking about, the screen being too small, I don't think there is, aside from *maybe* the PSP, a PMP with a larger screen. The idea of keeping it small is so that it can *gasp* fit in your pocket, or at least so you don't have to have a laptop case to carry it.

Keep it small so you can have it in your pocket? 5" is pretty big to lug around for listening to music. One thing is for sure, the girls in the gym will be looking at you when you are on the treadmill with that 5" media player ;-)
