Pros: Works well right out of the box.
Cons: As soon as one ink is out. The machine shuts down until you replace.
Summary: This machine seems like a good deal at first. It works pretty well for day to day projects. However as soon as any of the 4 ink cartridges runs out the machine shuts down. You can't scan, you can't fax. In fact if just one of the color cartridges is out you can't even make a black and white copy. You can't do anything until you go out and buy another "Brother" ink cartridge. How convienent for Brother. I called Brother's customer service and they said it is designed that way to protect the machine and the print heads. I challenged them and said you don't use print heads to scan, why does the whole machine shut.down. There was nothing they could do for me. I won't buy another Brother machine again. Single cartridges run out all the time and if you are in the middle of a big project that just needs one more scan.....sorry nothing you can do until you go out and spend $15 on a new cartridge. Don't buy Brother in my opinion.

Pros: Easy scan control from computer and to multiple destinations (file, email, etc). Convenient for copying capability and standalone fax. Print quality good.
Cons: My biggest problem is the short ink life, and how the whole device shuts down if a cartridge runs out. The only solution is to keep stock of spare cartidges on hand, check prices on ebay. A little flimsy in construction but o.k. for home use.

Pros: The looks and every thing you can do with it for the price seems workth the buy
Cons: Not sure yet, for the price their will be some problems but I don't have $200.00 to buy one with all the bells and whistles. I don't need it for any business strickly home use only. If it want color photois I will go to walgreens.
Summary: It is still new to me. So far scaning works great. Printing on some colors is fine. I have not tried the fax yet. Coping is ok. On scaning you can make enlargments and reduction which the advertisments do not suggest.

Pros: all-in-one, easy to use
Cons: doesn't hold enough paper. (not a dealbreaker)
Summary: Overall, a good printer for the price; I have no complaints.

Pros: Good Price for options and it quality
Cons: small ink cardrige (220 Page yield@5%)
Summary: Very good price for this printer. I have this one since 2 months and like it.
Ink cardrige are quite expensive but it's not to bad for the printer price
Some printing problem can appear on few model, the problem are some line when you printing a pictures. maybe just a printer head cleaning.
I just see some return at my store. maybe 6 for 80 sales.
Better than HP Officejet 5600 to 5700 (faster and easier)
