Pros: Built In Wireless - Put it where you need it without limitation.
PC Fax & Scan - Save Paper and Toner.
Auto Document Feeder - Walk Away.

Web / Desktop Administration.
Small Footprint.
Very quiet.
Low Cost of Ownership.Cons: No Auto Duplex (You can't have everything - at least at this price).

"Great for Printing and copying--AWFUL for scanning"
Pros: Print quality is excellent, copy quality is excellent. In fact, the printer portion of this machine is hard to beat, but...
Cons: Talk about a lousy scanning system. ScanSoft PaperPort software crashes EVERY time which requires use of Brother Control Center 3 software. Scan speed is atrocious. It took over an hour to scan a 1-page color document.

"good printer and support for LINUX"
Pros: Scanner is bit problem, but may be I need more try and options, EPSON is greatest scanner all time, this is my more than 10 year experience.
Cons: easy to set-up, on my three laptop and one PC, out of total 4, two running UBUNTU, and two running XP, VIISTA crash all time we know, right. UBUNTU is better and free.
