"The 210 is doing the same thing with me."
on by mattlayPros Good until it jams to one side. Then is is junk and must be repaired by a tech.
Cons The 210 is doing the same thing with me. I did a search and many other have the same problem. This is junk.

"90 warranty - guaranteed it will break on you"
on by tombb25Pros Scanner is easy to use, other than that there isn't many positives to say about this model
Cons Like with every printer you buy for under $100 that has a 90 warranty, it is guaranteed to break within 6 months of buying, this one stopped feeding paper at about the 5 month mark, Canon said it is the only model w/ a 90 day warranty...wonder why?
Summary Don't buy it, it has a 90 day warranty for a reason, unfortunately the cheapest printers you can get are the way to go now days for home use, unfortunately I needed a scanner so this is the second printer I've gone through in 18 months, both stopped feeding paper, the epson cx7800 stopped after about a year and this one stopped after about 5 months...good use of about $200 total.

"OSX 10.5 compatible, nice photo quality, just works"
on by joe12southPros Price. Scanner works with OSX's built-in "Image Capture" application and built-in "CUPS" printing without need for strange software. Photo quality amazingly good for $70 printer. Not too ugly.
Cons None so far.
Summary I generally buy Epson photo printers for my professional work (Creative Director). I purchased this little all-in-one for my childrens' school work. They have a small work-area, so having a printer and scanner in one was attractive, as was the price. Really pleasantly surprised at the photo quality. Reasonably fast, not too loud, build quality seems decent. Worked out-of-the box with OSX 10.5. Would I use it to for archival prints for a client? No. Is it an excellent little workhorse for a family or small office? Sure thing.
