"i recommend it its really nice" on by vitalies85
Pros: great picture quality
Cons: no USB cable provided, small and dark display
Summary: Overall, I'm very excited with my new purchase. I think its really worth it spending that money for that much quality. It has a really design though, and its easy to use. The lack of the USB cable is really pain in the rear end, since I didnt know it didnt have one, when I purchased it. One other thing, the LCD is a little small, and sometimes to see the previews of the pictures that you may wanna make. Thus, I had to use my computer for that. Otherwise, it makes quality pictures.

"A decent multifunction printer/scanner" on by cruegirl
Pros: great on ink usage, user friendly, multicolor ink tanks
Cons: poor scanning quality, color quality on prints only OK
Summary: I bought this one to replace my Epson, which worked great but had a short lifespan and was an ink guzzler. The Canon PIXMA MP500 goes through much less ink and has very user-friendly software. The scan quality is very poor, makes everything look "dusty", even after it and the document have been cleaned. Color quality on the prints is OK, I've seen better. This is an overall great printer unless you're going to be scanning or printing a lot of documents with pictures. If so, this might not be the printer for you.

"Excellent buy" on by sallyduncan
Pros: Versatile, reliable
Cons: User guide is very hard to navigate
Summary: Fed up with Lexmark and HP in the past. Very pleased with this. Am pleased with printouts, scans and copies. Use my own software though, as I'm not keen on the bundled stuff. One drawback is the user guide which is unfriendly to navigate. As it seems to be a PDF basis, can't understand why they have used this format with no search facility and no index, just a TOC that isn't very logical.

"This is a keeper!" on by 1corona4u
Pros: Great print quality, many features, dual paper trays, duplex printing
Cons: Size, shiny exterior shows fingerprints/dust, not so great scans
Summary: Without a doubt, this is the best printer I have ever owned. Long time Lexmark user.
Yesterday, I decided to look into the smaller MFP Lexmark, P4300, and went to staples and got it. Mostly, I was tired of the poor print quality on photos from the X5150 I have, and it's size, and was looking for a multi-function/photo printer as well. It came down to this one, and the Lexmark.
After struggling with the Lexmark ink cartridges last night, and a glitch in their software for their photo printing, I decided to take it back today, and get this one. Night & day difference. Set up was a breeze, although it took a while. Print quality really impressed me, even on plain paper, and outstanding on glossy photo paper.
Well worth the money, well built, and so many nice features of the printer. Just the way it's made, you can see the quality. It is not a small printer, which was the drawback for me, but I guess what I want size wise just doesn't exist. Yet.
Anyway, you can't go wrong with this printer, and I will give it a 10, because the cons just aren't that important to me. Nothing is "perfect", but this is as close as I think it can be. -
"Excellent AIO. No i do not work for Canon!" on by rohitv
Pros: Good print speed, silent, scans well.
Cons: A little larger than your average printer
Summary: I recently purchased this AIO and am very happy with its looks and performance. Printing, scanning and copying was a breeze. This printer scored higher than average on many websites and definitely worth the money. I will definitely recommend this to someone considering a AIO (All-in-One) for home/SOHO use. This comes with a USB port and no ethernet port. Also USB cable is not included (not an issue as you can get it cheap on the internet). Do your research, but i can bet you will come back to this AIO. I did!
