"Very good, but some problems" on by monashville
Pros: Speed and output good when optimized
Cons: does poorly with non canon paper
Summary: I had a lot of trouble at first with poor picture quality. I was ready to return the printer and write nasty reviews, but as a last ditch effort I bought Canon brand photo paper and tried it. I never would have imagined that paper could make such an incredible difference-- the output was really good. The other papers I had used were HP Photo Premium Plus and a generic photo paper, both glossy. It's a bit disappointing to have to use canon brand paper, as it is a bit costly, but not enough to make me return the printer.
Other than above, it was easy to set up. Has many, many features-- one of the best is that it has both a paper feeding tray and a casette, so one can be loaded with letter size paper, and the other with 4x6 photo paper. Also, can be bluetooth compatible with optional add on kit (I plan to get this).
