Pros: Tech Support (for user Error!),Quietness, ease of set up,fast
Cons: none so far
Summary: First Canon Printer, had a very reliable OLD HP all in one, saw bad reviews on top of the line HP's ,if I pay for quality I want quality and SERVICE,My experience with Canon Tech Support EXCELLENT, helpful, friendly,EASY TO UNDERSTAND,and professional. All things being close, exceptional Tech support gets my dough.Too Bad HP doesn't get it----TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS OR THEY WILL NO LONGER BE YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!

I agree. I've had HP's and a Canon. When I changed to Vista the Canon ran smooth as silk, the HP's were another story. They outsource their customer service to a foreign country and it is very difficult and time consuming to get HP's to work. Even when HP's state they are suppose to be Vista compatabile.

Looks like a lot of us have been reading the 7780 reviews. It's too bad. I still use an old psc 2110 which I love. The only reason I need an upgrade is for vista problems with it. Any Canon vista issues you know of? Looks like canon + another customer, hp -1

Am in the same situation; I need a new multifunction printer; am being scared off by bad HP7780 & 7680 reviews; never had a Canon before; am only semi-geeky and need something to work.
