Epson Artisan 730 All-in-One Printer

Pros

Easy setup. Photo prints like from the lab. Like the two-tray setup for regular printing vs photos. Scanning and copying are a snap. Impressed with the speed of printing photos.

Cons

Out of the box setup was missing the EpsonConnect printer set-up wizard. Had to contact support in order for them to tell me how to download the update to match the help on their web site.

Summary

Good buy for the money, as we were looking to replace the old HP office all-in-one with something that could do photos really well to celebrate our new granddaughter.

Pros

Simple and easy to set up and use. . Inexpensive given the variety of functions. Picture quality excellent. Copy and scan functions very fast. All of the connections can be wireless. Apps on apple devices control all functions.

Cons

Finding the software instructions for Macs Lion OS was not easy. Once found set up was easy.

Summary

Good product that does all that it claims. Very easy to set up. Can perform most all functions from handheld devices.

Pros

None - this is an all around waste of money - cheap junk!

Cons

Smeared photo printing - Will not print on glossy paper. Matte paper photos have grain the size of baseballs.

Scanner does poor job of making PDF copies - poor resolution.
