Pros: Was awesome when it worked.... then it stopped working
Cons: 1 year and a few weeks later.. all-in-one becomes some -in-one
Summary: Was a great printer until a few weeks after the one year point.. I changed cartridges and then it would only print magenta, but everything wasn't rosy......... If you want to buy a new one every year, I highly recommend the CX5400. If this had happened before the one year point I would have gotten a free replacement... too bad, soooo sad... I really liked Epson too.. have an Actionlaser 1500 I still use...

Pros: Cool all-in-one, good print quality, pretty good scanning quality
Cons: Nozzles clog easily, becomes an oversized paperweight in about a year
Summary: I love Epson printers, but after a year, this one really let me down. I've tried using the head cleaners over and over again. So far, I've succeeded in partially cleaning two of the four nozzles. Of course, this meant that I'd wasted the whole cartridge of ink in the process. I heard that using nozzle cleaning fluid can damage the nozzles since they are so tiny. So I'm stuck with a printer that no longer works. I know three other people with the same printer that have similar problems.

Summary: The CX5400 was part of a 2003 package deal by Apple and included a rebate that Epson never honored. Software crashes, expensive cartridges and the ubiquitous nozzle clogging shows how Epson clearly doesn't care about their customers.

Pros: At first the printer was excellent, we had no problems. Photocopies and printouts are still first rate after almost a year. Picture scans are clear and just like the original.
Cons: Unfortunately after we changed the blue cartridge, we started having problems. The machine hasn't been the same since. The nozzles have become blocked and no amount of head cleaning will work. Epson is replacing the printer since it is still under one

Pros: works great when new.. buyer beware!
Cons: it becomes garbage after the first year of life
Summary: This is my 5th Epson printer. They all work fine when New and they all die between one and two years old. The ink is over priced! and one day everything will be fine and you will replace the ink with all new cartiges and drop another 80 dollars... and it will die! All new ink and no printing .. blank pages! This company has no longevity or loyalty to customers. I will boycott them for life! Epson SHAME ON YOU! for adding to toxic garbage waste in the world!
