Summary: Never had a printer fail for me before right out of the box. Got through setup through installing the ink cartridges and then the display just kept flashing. None of the controls were recognized. Nothing in the instructions covered this situation. Called Epson customer support, no 800 number. After minimal trouble shooting like powering printer off an back on, checking for any obstructions, unplugging it, all of which I had already done they said I would have to send it back and they would send a replacement. They would have to put a hold on my credit card to assure that I returned the defective machine and I would have to take it to a FedEx location. Will be it taking back to where I purchased it and will not be getting another Epson based on this experience and the experience with customer support.
