Pros: Seems well constructed. Staff used it out of the box.
Cons: Noise - makes some noise.
Summary: As I've said, we are satisfied with the
2840 so far. Setup wasn't bad. It's a
little noisy. The staff have managed to use
this to fax, copy, and print with no help
from me or manuals.
On the drum replacements. This is a question
since many people complain about replacing the drum after 5000 pages at a cost of $200.
Many say the drum is still fine and they
could continue printing another 10000 pages.
I see drum chips for this drum on sale for
$15. Unless someone tells me otherwise, I am
planning to replace the chip in the drum
until I see a degredation in quality - likely
