"Decent printer"
Pros: Its a great B& W basic printer
Cons: Scanner functions leave room for improvement
Summary: I have owned HP Laserjets III, IV, V, 6L plus a coupe of HP Inkjets. This is the least impressive of all of them because of the limited copy and scan quality. Still, to be fair it is a decent B & W printer. The scan and copy functions seem to work ok from sharp B&W originals as long as you ahve all day to wait for it. Not a bad machine but not up to my expectations based upon all previous experience with HP Products. I would not recommend this machine as the multifunction product to meet the needs of even the smallest of companies if you are depending upon the scan/fax/copy functions. This is a good PRINTER.
