"Trash - Don't buy it."
Pros: None whatsoever.
Cons: Scanner unit was dead twice within one year.
Summary: The LaserJet was used at home. The scanner unit needed repair only after six months. On the 13th month, (one month after the end of warranty) the scanner unit failed again. And guess what my friend who also brought one at the same time and he is having the same problem. He also had his scanner unit replaced. I think HP should offer a refund for this piece of trash. Last week, I went to a office equiptment store, told the store owner I was getting something to replace my HP 3330. The store owner actually laughed and said I am not the first. He had so many angry customers calling him saying the scanner unit broke down and asking for parts.
So avoid this printer or any printer that has multifunction from HP.
Okay, I know you would think my HP laser at work is doing fine, this shouldn't happen. That's what I thought when I got this printer. But not anymore. Get a Samsung for half the price. I would have repaired the this printer, but scanner unit actually costs more than a new Samsung Multi-function.
Btw, HP service is really poor here in Hong Kong. I am totally considering calling the Consumer Council and reporting the bad service and incidence.

I got the same thing on 3 of these that I bought. I tried oiling the bar that the scanner slides on and the motor axle and still got errors. then i saw a loose solder on the motor, resoldered it and presto, just like new.
