"Great unit; solved my scanning problems"
Pros: I bought this to scan documents. My hope was that I could make archives in PDF format, and let the documents feed in without assistance. HP allows scanned images to be saved in a variety of formats, including PDF. It holds 20 pages at a time, and prompts
Cons: No flat glass for rigid objects (like DVD's, books). Buy another cheap scanner for this, or upgrade to the next HP model.

Get primo pdf. It does the same thing for free, and integrates well with MS office software.

I had been sold on this product based on specs. then saw the other reviews. Yours was great and reconfirmed my confidence in the product.

That's really impressive, or the sure mark of a shill.
This guy is a shill. How many posts does he have?
Come on HP, if you are going to come on this site and spam the reviews, at least don't finish your posts with "or upgrade to the next level HP."
Please. -
I think this unit is great except for one problem. When I scan a picture, the unit puts vertical lines in the photo, thus the scanned picture looks terrible. Any solutions?

I purchased this in a hurry. I work as a consultant and what I do like about this unit is that it is small and not bulky if fits great in my hotel room next to my laptop and phone.
what i do not like is what another reviewr said about resizing each page of a document after scanning it. this is way to time consuming.
