"would not recommend this to anyone!!" on by kcummings
Pros: none I can think of
Cons: 3 different printers, 3 different problems in less than 1 yr
Summary: I have had to return this product 3 times in 9 months. Each time I get a remanufactured unit with a different problem than the one before. No one at technical support can speak english. It's very frustrating.

"Does everything but brew coffee" on by simuland
Pros: Fast, easy to use, easy to install
Cons: Print quality not perfect
Summary: This machine does everything right. Even has a relatively small footprint. Worth every penny. Print/scan quality isn't professional, but then the price isn't either. Quibbles: it's a bit noisy and the ink cartridges are small and expensive (2, each $20).

"Takin' it back!" on by Msbichey
Pros: Extremely easy to use
Cons: Noisy, small ink cartridges only, poor scanning, awful document viewer program
Summary: I had a OfficeJet K80 for 2 1/2 years that recently kicked the bucket. After researching different printers to use for my small business, I decided on the HP 6210. MAJOR MISTAKE! I should have gone with the next model up because this one is awful.
When I brought the printer home, I opened the box and realized that the printer inside had been used - extensively. It was scratched up, the ink tank had gobs of ink in the bottom and it wasn't taped for shipping. I took it back to the store and the Sales Rep. knew exactly what had happened - someone in their store had put used merchandise on the shelf to sell as new again! They exchanged the machine for a new one. This time, it was new and I was able to set it up pretty easy. However, it is very noisy, flimsy, makes sorry scans of word documents, has a awful document viewer program, eats a lot of ink and only accomodates the HP 94 cartridge. The 94 holds half the amount of ink that the HP 96 holds.
I have contacted the manager of the store and since I have been a pain in the rear end where buying a printer is concerned, we are trading the HP 6210 for the HP 7310 and see if that solves my problem. I have a small business and do a lot of printing & copying so hopefully the next one does a better job. -
"this thing sucks!" on by cawelty
Pros: finally printed
Cons: the software doesn't install
Summary: The software for this thing sucks...You can install the print driver fine. The software that allows you to use the scanner however will not install...seems to be pretty common because they have all kinds of knowledgebase articles on it but none of their solutions work! They said copy files from cd rom to harddrive...that didn't work...hp support says that its a bad cd and they will send me a new on in 2 weeks...what a joke..crappy software and crappy support

"Getting unit #2 today" on by gstanley62
Pros: Nice features, relatively compact , front controls allow storage on shelf .
Cons: Unit is not printing in color. Tried replacing cartridge without luck. Am returning for replacement today.
Summary: If problem is not corrected with swap, I'll be looking for a different brand.
