Pros I haven't found one.
Cons The printer, its software, HP, tech support, "customer service."
Summary I bought an Officejet 6700 last October. It couldn't keep the connection to print wirelessly as someone else mentioned. Then the HP ink cartridges stopped working and I needed a replacement in April. I got it. It worked for four weeks. Then the problems started. After on and off use (the scanner didn't work), the printer didn't work, the HP inkjets jammed, we re-installed the software (that took six hours). Then the HP inkjets jammed again and the printer refused to do anything. The replaced it AGAIN. This one doesn't print, scan or copy. I have been trying to get someone at HP on the phone for five days. Since only the "escalation manager" can help me, I have to wait. So -- nine months, three non-functioning printers, over 36 hours total on the phone to HP and I still don't have a functioning printer.
Pros None that comes to mind
Cons HP service is the worst. The software fails and leaves a mess on your computer after uninstall.
Summary Poor software. Creates install and uninstall issues. Once uninstall is used a DLL error will occur and can't be removed by HP software. Will have to use 3rd party utility program.
Reinstall becomes a problem after uninstall is done. Will not communicate over network or through USB. HP solutions were--reformat hard drive and reinstall all software.
Pros Holds down the desk nicely and consumes ink rapidly
Cons Leave it to HP to invent a flat bed scanner that only works if cover is completely closed ... no scanning anything thicker than a sheet of paper or bigger than letter size! Given the low chance of the software working, scanning is unlikely anyway
Pros There are no pros. I taught me a lesson to read review for purchasing a product, if that can be a pro.
Cons The entire printer itself. I have half a mind to go back to Sam's club and throw it at the manager. It keeps telling me I'm out of paper for each page I try to print, when I'm clearly NOT out of paper!
Summary Hate, hate, hate it.
"OK Everyday Printer!"on by mtb97
Pros Print Quality, Ink Price (kinda)
Cons Rather Poor Wireless Connection, VERY Noisy while Printing, Very Poor Software that you download onto your computer!
Summary This is an OK printer for general, at home, everyday use. I would NOT suggest this printer if you would be using it for a home business!
Thanks for your submission!
