"HP Engineering has gone south!!"
Pros: Looks great on desk
Cons: Software Package a disaster
Summary: First unit was DOA, tech support for this no help, Staples salesperson knew right away my problem and told me to return for exchange. New unit was good then Software install took days and 30+ hours till I gave up and returned unit. I had a good tech from Idaho calling me each day about my progress and that was helpfull but the software was very buggy. I loaded it one time where it seemed good but no icons at all on any of the programs, then when I was able to install and get my icons other problems started with communication to scanner. HP needs to break up this software install into multiple disks. As it stands now you need to install all or none and if there is a problem uninstall EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!! very poor design. Right now looking into other brands than HP and this is a shame since my old printer and scanner were HP's.

The scanner section is not working, when scanning or copying you get a yellow film over the whole scanned area.
Solution send it back for replacement and I've to pay for shipment.
HP you are loosing credibility and why should I pay for shipment, waht happen with your quality control department.
