Pros: The print quality is reasonably good with text. Photo printing is occasionally splotchy and slurry which is an unfortunate waste of expensive ink.

Cons: The scanner is absolutely awful both in terms of quality and usability. The scanner fails to properly interpret white space in many documents and simply leaves it out, creating all kinds of problems.

Summary: After using this product, I will never, ever again purchase another HP product under any circumstances. This multifunction device fails to function on almost every level. It sucks ink down at an alarming rate given that the print quality isn't top-notch, but the worst thing of all is the scanner, which is so far below any reasonable standard of quality that it simply shouldn't even be included in the device. My advice is to stay FAR, FAR away from this or any other HP product if this one is any indication.
