Cons Features don't work! Second paper tray (per tech support) isn't supposed to be used with faxing or copying even though user manual insinuates it can be.

Cons Set up process was very long, painful, and problemmatic. The fax setup wizard does not accommodate all possibilities; i.e., distinctive ring. Had to set it up via printer software. Cons Despite CNet editor's high rating on the new model, the printer is not designed to last more than a couple months after warranty. Ink usage was very high. Cons Mystifying software. The disc does nothing.
It took five minutes just to align the print heads. Going in one hundred and five minutes.
A very long time to warm up and it's noisy.

Cons Out of control ink (9/10/09 review) cost is a fact. I don't print often, but seem to run out of ink very often. If a color cartridge needs replacing, the black ink can't be used - even if the black cartridge is full. Cons HP has always had software problems. The updates usually result in HOURS of work to resolve/ reset. Printer prints HUNDREDS of papers when any multiple print is sent to print.
