    Pros: Improved software
    Quiet
Able to use CIS without trouble

Cons: Paper storage, can't see how much paper is left or what kind of paper is in it without opening up the clunky paper tray.

Summary: I replaced my Office Jet 7590 with this, and I'm totally happy with it. I also owed a Office Jet 7580, which is the same thing as the OJ 7590 but different front panel.

OJ7590 and OJ8500 are about the same speed. They both have the same functionality (printer, copy, fax, and scan). Both can be networked. But, the OJ7590's software had a lot of problems. It was not very stable.

Installation was really easy and straightforward. I installed it and that was it. It's only been a week, but I haven't had any problems with it.
