Pros It was/is cheap. It's now even cheaper. It will eventually print. The touch interface is kinda nifty although I guess a little outdated at this stage.
Cons Paper doesn't go through the feed too well and often comes out crinkled.
It took well over 5 hours to get the printer connecting wirelessly.
Constant alerts notifying that the installed cartridges are faulty.
Summary I think it was on gizmodo in an article that I read soon after I bought this unit. A reader asked advise on the best all in one printer available for a moderate price. The response was "whatever you do, don't get the HP 5510". I think that sums it up nicely
Pros I was able to scan and print wireless from a different room and it was great every time.
Cons The only thing you have to do is copy a page one at a time or scan one page at a time. it does not have a automatic feed on it.
Summary Over all I think it is a great printer I'm very happy with it. I can just say it save me a lot of time going to Staples to do everything this printer did for me.
Pros We liked it as long at it was working correctly.
Cons Getting it to actually "Print" when prompted using wireless connection was frustrating! Switched to using the USB to avoid the printing problems. The power switch quit working and we had to send it back to HP.
Summary We received our RECONDITIONED (Not New)replacement printer from HP and it turned out to be a nightmare. It had 3 problems, detecting the loaded paper in the tray, causing paper jams when it finally would print and when a scanned or printed document finally came through, it would come out blank. After 5 additional phone calls to HP to try and get another RECONDITIONED printer, they told me the reason it was taking so long is because we did not purchase an extended warranty when we bought the printer 10 weeks ago. So evidently we are being punished for that. Very unhappy with HP right now. Not sure what to expect with a second RECONDITIONED printer finally on its way.
Pros Sleek appearance, lightweight & smaller compared to similar printers
Touch screen is very easy to see allowing for easy navigation through setup, etc.
Easily connects to wireless network & devices
Scans & copies in images & docs quickly &
Cons Constant paper jams. I only get approximately 1 printed page for every 5 pages I try to print.
Pages seem to have small ink floaters even though I have made sure everything is clean of dust and debris.
Summary The printer seems to be a well made printer with lots of bonus features for the price (scanner, copier, wireless connection, apps). The apps that come with the printer are a plus especially if you have little kids (coloring pages) or are looking to save a few extra bucks at the grocery store (coupons), etc. The scanner has worked wonderfully so far and scans quickly and clearly. Connecting to wireless networks and devices takes only a few simple steps that even those who are not technically inclined could connect without ever having to open the manual. The printer has a nice appearance as well, does not look clunky or outdated and is very lightweight compared to other printers selling in this price range. So, besides for having to constantly clear paper jams and the tiny ink particles I frequently find on my prints, I would say it is an overall good printer for the price. I am hoping that mine is just a defective product (which I seem to always choose especially when purchasing an HP products... Ugh) because I think this printer has potential to be a good buy.I forgot to mention another con before submitting my review. . . My printer is extremely loud when turning on, initializing, and when printing. The sound can be heard in another room with the door closed over the sound of the TV. Again, I don't know if this is common with this product or just something else messed up with the particular one I bought but printers should not be loud enough to wake people up out of a dead sleep in a completely different room than where it is located!! My printer also takes a long time initializing when first turned on (about 2 minutes) even if nothing has been sent to be printed!!

Pros LCD display great, so are the scanning and copier.
Cons When it came time to replace the inks, I bought GUARANTEED remanufactured ink cartridges, and when I put them in the printer the ink level display continued to show "Empty"
Summary I contacted HP about this and they said their printers were set up not to show ink levels on any cartridges EXCEPT genuine HP ones. I am on SSD and cannot afford HP inks. I'm so disappointed in HP and I guess I will be returning this printer and going back to good ol' Canon. C'mon, HP, play fair and allow your printers to use other inks and you'll get me back as a customer!
