"great printer, great scanner"
Pros: scanner, print quality
Cons: no external screen to preview photos
Summary: this is an awesome printer, pretty good size, didn't take up much space on my desk and i love the built in photo copier, in color or black and white

...money to burn?, then this is no worse than many other MFDs, and is fairly easy on the eye despite its size
Frankly, the cost of replacement inks is where HP makes its money on this one. Running costs too high even for my modest useage.
IF you want a MFD printer for everyday use, you'd be well advised to look elsewhere.
IF HOWEVER you're already sold on the C3180, LET ME KNOW! I have one here almost unused, still under warranty, - you want?, for a small consideration it can be yours!!
