Pros Good printing (while it works), good scanning.
Cons The printhead design is awful. If left unused for any period of time it becomes plugged. You have to clean if frequently and if you leave it unused long enough it will become permanently plugged and unusable.
Summary If you are under warranty and willing to spend the time going through all of the rediculous steps and checks (including replacing all the good ink cartriges), HP will ship you a replacement printhead assembly. But it just fails again (latest one lasted 2.5 months). Now HP is claiming the printer is out of warranty based on data they received from best buy and I have to post a claim to get the warranty reinstated. You can't buy the printhead yourself, so once it is out of warranty the printer is going in the trash. I used to really like HP equipment but no more.
Pros Nice color print and photo quality. Can print directly from memory cards and can hook a digital camera directly via USB.
Cons Paper jams frequently. Very difficult this printer to keep connected to internet for wireless printing. Frequently disconnects from wireless network.
Summary I've have had 2 of these printers over the last 2 years. Each one lasted about a year. The paper jams are so frequent no that it virtually unusable. I purchased this for the wireless printing option but it rarely works. Ink goes fairly quickly as well and cartridges are expensive. A complete waste of $. Run as fast as you can from this $150 paper weight.

Pros White in color ... that's about it.
Cons loud, slow, confusing touchscreen, horrendous customer service from HP, crashes all the time, poorer quality printing than I expected, motherboard had chip failure so wireless would not work and HP would not honor it ... less than one year!!!
Summary I have owned and appreciated many printers over the last 30 years. This is my first ..AND LAST .. experience with HP. I did research but obviously not enough. We have had trouble with it from the beginning but stuck with it. I shouldn't have done that. I figured out some of the problems with shear determination including reinstalling it three times. When the wireless radio quit (less than one year) suddenly HP didn't want to take any responsibility.
Pros See my one line summary.
Cons Agree with the reviewer; the touch screen is bothersome to me. For my home needs, I don't need a document feeder. I would not pay the asking price for it either, but Office Depot had a sell on them for $125 which I felt was quite good for it.
Summary Not worth the asking price ($199.99) but for $125, it is a bargain. :)
Pros None that I can find
Cons Printer head had to be replaced twice since April 2011. No wireless connectivity. HP is now shipping me a new printer but I have filed a complaint with the BBB. I want my money back so I can but a reliable printer. AVOID THIS PRINTER EVEN IF THEY GIVE IT
Summary Support staff is nice enough but useless. They do not even know the instructions sent with the printer and then tell you you are doing something wrong when you are reading the instructions directly from the material they provide. Another example of a fine product made in China. Awaiting BBB response and then will go to small claims court. HP not getting away with this crap.
