"The Kodak 5100 is pretty nice!"
Pros: Very low ink costs, well made unit, fast, good print quality.
Cons: It's pretty big, so you'll need plenty of desk space.
Summary: I almost let the first review on this site discourage me. But I found several other reviews from people who were quite happy with the 5100. Between the anticipated 50% savings in ink and a very nice discount offered by Kodak through September, this was enough to get me to take a chance. I am glad I did. The 5100 is an impressive unit, prints very good 5 x 7 and 8 x 10 color pictures (which is mostly what I do), and is much faster than my older HP printer. I am very happy with my purchase. If the units holds up well, the greatly reduced ink costs are going to make this a popular product line once word gets out.
