"Good, Low-End Printer That Keeps Saving You Money"
4.0 starson by PhotoSciPros: Very inexpensive operating costs. Excellent color and image quality. Prints that don't fade. Easy Wi-Fi setup. Standard set of replacement cartridges easy to find. Knowledgeable phone support. Intuitive, but practical software.
Cons: This is not Kodak's high-end printer and, as such, lacks some features. Best for home use. Other Kodak models are more suited for office deployment.
Summary: Kodak's pigment inks have outstanding image permanence, but sell at the price of inexpensive dye-based inks that fade rapidly. The color quality is excellent as one would expect from Kodak. Wi-Fi at this price is a bonus. Since all the ESP printers use the same catridge set, you'll have no trouble finding replacement ink when you need it. Plus, its new and awarded eco-design technology uses much less electricity in stand-by mode where most printers live. The software is full of bonuses that families will like and is easy to use. Though I've not called Kodak in regard to this printer, their phone support has been top-notch on other models. Bottom line: This is a printer that will serve families well and save them lots of money over its lifetime, in initial cost, consumables, and power.
