Pros None to be found.
Cons Ink cartridges need to be replaced alot faster than most printers.
Not economical and you must replace color and BW for it to print even BW.
Constant printhead jam!!!! with no obvious reason.
Summary Wish I had never bought!!!
Throwing in Dumpster.
Pros Nice print quality
Cons Printhead jam, printhead jam, printhead jam, do i need to say anything else.
Summary My experience with this printer has been the worst experience I have had to date with printers. We initially purchased the 2150 model and upon set-up the first thing it did was give me a printhead jam error message. I performed the set-up exactly as stated in the instructions so I know it wasn't any of my doing. After talking with tech support from Kodak, they sent me a replacement printer which was the 2170. this one worked pretty well for about 2 weeks and then...printhead jam error message. I am in the process of trying to get a full refund from Kodak. I would not recommend this AIO printer to anyone. It is not worth your money or time.
Pros Near adequate print quality for documents.
Cons goes into sleep mode after a certain amount of time (there is no way to disable the "feature") and will not print or communicate with my PC without rebooting both printer and PC. I have repeatidly contacted their customer support, but they cannot solve t
Summary Don't buy any Kodak printer - they are trying to get into the business and are not up to the task.
Pros Prints flawlessly & NO JAMS. Wireless printing, scanning, and faxing are easy. Our family business sells municipality accounting software and 3 of us have this printer.
Cons That you cannot print just black if your color cartridge runs out.
Summary So far I have had this printer for about 6 months and had one paper jam. I have been able to print from my Asus TF201 Prime Transformer, my daughters Ipod Touch 5 and am sure I will be able to print from my Note II android phone too. I used to buy only Lexmark but after their ink was just getting too costly our family got the Kodaks at a fantastic price at $25 per printer. My family is happy with all of their Kodak 2150s and have NO major issues. I have used my printer with shipping labels, envelopes, speciality paper, and regular paper with no problems. The best thing is to buy OEM ink as the reviews on remanufactured, or compatible cartridges just don't give you the quality printing or the number of pages printed you get with OEM cartridges. I usually can get black XL cartridges for $12.98 and color XL cartridges for $14.98 on Amazon and the prices I gave include shipping. Sometimes I can find a cartridge for even lower on eBay. The cost per page is about $.02 a page for black & $.05 a page for color. This is much better than Kodak estimates per page cost for printing. All in all and with the amount of printing I do and the experience of over 28 years on computers I am happy with this printer.
Pros Cheap ink, Wireless
Cons Can't print if one cartridge is out of ink, Looses connection, slow, errors, and more
Summary This is by far the worst printer I have had. Most all in one you can bypass the color out and print in Grayscale , but not with this printer. Also connection to a WEP2 will not allow manually as it does not recognize any password not in WEP format of hexdecimel. Just simply a horrible computer. Also ink only last for about 200 pages of text only and then you have to buy more. RIP OFF
