"Top Printer in 2010" on by IceCold1x
Pros: Simple Pigment based deep Black ink, and Text at 2400x1200 resolution Find another printer at this price point that does that. Why pay $200 or $300 for an All in One that only has 600x600 dpi Text ???
Capacitive LCD Touch Screen responsive.Cons: Menu Icons, they look too Fisher Price child like, they should be nicer icons but thats minor.
No BluetoohSummary: Simple if you need to do the best Possible Graphics and Text Documents the s605 Lexmark is the best 2010 model better than more expensive all in ones.
I returned a $300 Artisan 810 because it has grey looking poor resolution blacks that I would not care to use on my kids homework papers let alone business documents.
Also Lexmark and its new VIZIX inks on the s605 have 3200 Nozzels the more nozzles the better. -

"Beautiful Printer, 2 Fatal Flaws" on by saichele
Pros: love the interface, double-sided printing, and scanner/copier/printer functionality minus unnecessary fax. Print quality is amazing for the price.
Cons: Paper feed gets jammed on nearly every first sheet - truly a pain.
More importantly, the Windows 7 driver is HORRIBLE. Print software won't close after job - to the extent that my fan turns on HIGH every single time I try to print with this thing.Summary: Beautiful printing, great features, BUT paper always jams, horrible Windows 7 driver, and 'optional' spyware.

"Great all in one - style, functionality, features" on by pdxbob
Pros: Drivers for Windows7, Windows XP, MacOS and Linux/Ubuntu
Looks great
Has a small footprint on my desk
Touch screen is actually useful
WirelessCons: Driver does not appear to have a "shrink to fit" option
Could be quieterSummary: I'm very happy with this purchase. The printer has great design, the drivers are a breeze to install, and it supports the wide variety of computers in my home office, all wirelessly. Everything just worked - and the Linux drivers are full featured. I was surprised at the functionality of the touch screen.
I've never owned a Lexmark before - I had a perception that they were a second tier product under HP and Canon. But this product changed my mind - I'm happier with this Lexmark than I was with my past HP, Canon, or Epson printers and scanners.
Print quality looks fine for my purposes, though I am not doing much photo printing at home (I switched to Shutterfly a while ago). -
"Don't buy this printer." on by jtebbe
Pros: LIke the multifunction aspect.
Cons: The paper feed is always getting jammed. I spend more time trying to get paper to feed into the printer than actual print time. The ink cost more than the printer. And the touch screen is very slow.
