1.0 starson by Vickies152Pros: It's a printer.
Cons: ~claims of cheap ink are not true
~Ink is poor quality and cartridges are unreliable
~the printer knows when you are on deadline and will stop working when you need it most
~I sprung for the extra tray, it doesn't work
~It's consistently unreliableSummary: This is a horrible printer. There are no redeeming qualities. The money you think you are saving you will lose in having to constantly reprint pages, use up valuable label sheets, put up with poor ink, follow confusing directions. It loves to print out test sheets for you with deep colors so you have to change your ink cartridges more often. I have bought ink cartridges from the manufacturer that show up as empty when I insert them brand new and "fresh".
They are so proud of being eco-conscious. So the dang thing falls asleep. If you touch the screen too hard, you TURN IT OFF! I have been in the midst of deadlines and couldn't get it to wake up, so I got up, tapped on the screen, and it turned off and took forever to recycle awake again. (Tearing hair out.)
I have used more "special words" that are unprintable when using this piece of garbage printer. I think the girl at Office Max who sold me on its great qualities needs to come pick it up from my driveway where I'm going to back my truck over it.
Seriously, DO NOT BUY a Lexmark printer.
Truth be told, if it isn't a Canon engine or an HP, or maybe a Xerox product, you are wasting your money.
