"Great printer/scanner"
4.0 starson by phxpaul61Pros: Higher capacity ink cartridges, with rewards program. Scanner works great. this printer works great with Mac OS-X, however Lexmark kind of orphaned it when Lion came out because they did not update their own software manager.
Cons: print head had to be replaced under warranty; home phone line is on a dsl filter, in it seems to effect the fax function. The computer randomly informs that the tel line is incorrectly connected.

Please update your printer firmware. You can download the update from Lexmark official site www.lexmark.com.
After updating, please follow steps below.
1 On your printer screen, press Setup (wrench icon) >Defaults >Set Defaults >Use Factory to reset your printer settings to factory default
2 Enter the information needed on your printer and if choose yes if it's asking you if you want to setup fax
3 Enter information needed on the printer (date, time, fax number etc)
4 Rebrick printer (pull out power adapter and put it back after 30 seconds. Power adapter is the black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer)
5 Make sure the phone cord is plugged in to line port at the back of the printer.
