  • "Nothing like what it says on the box absolute rubbish"
    on by stephenkilpatrick

Pros The concept of an all in oneis very appealing ????

Cons Since day one its never printed correctly,
Told by lexmark to change the cartridge ,no good.
    Realigned printer head several times,
It worked fine printing these sheets, print from computer back to the same blurred prints.
    Absolute crap printer

Summary Have bought two previous lexmarks but will never buy another one
aftersales service is very very very poor.

  • "Worst junk that I paid money for!!!"
    on by chode444

    Pros WIFI is great

Cons Had troulble with injet installation, read catridges to be empty, still printed 100 or more pages, Broke printer carriage, now I'm stuck with 4 cartridges that I can't use and Lexmark has failed to give an idea where to get it fixed or find parts.

Summary It looked like the perfect product but in real life the picture print quality was poor to say the least and very unrulely at times in how it would shoot out paper and not print a thing when given acommand. My experience with other models tells me and I hope others to stay away from all the glory and stay serious when it comes to the real thing you want a pinter to do!!!

  • "So what's the fuss?"

Pros The back to back printing, maybe! The colors could pass

Cons Ugly, slow, It would be fancy looking if they released this printer back in 1995.

Summary Lexmark has again become the losing end of the industry.

After suffering from many internal political power plays and lackluster market performance they had to go and add insult to injury by designing printers that would be literal statement of the indentity crisis Lexmark is probably having.

Vista drivers were flaky at best and the design itself would only be appealing to people stuck in cubicles. At least it spared them the dignity of visitors actually seeing the printer.

If you're only in for the prints and the functionality I would give you my blessing but if you're an architect with fancy interior designs, this thing would ruin the landscape. The back to back printing is one of its redeeming qualities since I tend to be stingy on paper.

In conclusion, I wouldn't be caught dead having this thing on my desk.
