"Lexmark 7675 Scores Bigtime" on by newhouse1000

Pros: Great price, quiet as a church mouse operation, fast and easy setup, Wi-Fi printing works flawlessly, ADF and 2-sided printing, digital media (SD, mini-SD, flash, all memory sticks supported, and a 5-Year warranty

Cons: Bluetooth connectivity not supported directly. Of course, there are USB adaptable Bluetooth products available, and there are AIO's do not offer full-featured fax capability that offer Bluetooth for some reason.

Summary: as a business owner in this economy, I am more than a little concerned about value and reliability in product purchases. I went back to Circuit City to get another item, saw some people in the printer's aisle looking at units, and after explaining my research and use of the 7675, they asked if I worked for Lexmark, and proceeded to buy 1 for themselves and 1 as a Xmas gift. The replacement ink seems a little pricey at black and color bundled at CC for $48. But the XL High Yield cartridges are supposed to be 2X as good as standard ones, so that's a wash. The print quality is great in pure-black and color outputs. The case is nice gunmetal gray and black, and the ADF and paper exit trays have a sturdy feel that is an order of magnitude better than other comparably priced AIO's in my opinion. The Lexmark 7675 is new in stores, and my rating is the first here. But I am a more than satisfied, and a f-year warranty is the best offered in this product category, period! Very nice piece of technology, and at $148 value point in CC, these will be very popular and scarce units once people become aware.

The 7675 does have full fax capability, as well as copy, print, scanning, and photo print via PictBridge, digital media, WiFi.

"Miles better at a much welcomed fraction of the price" on by OCdad

Pros: Consistent, color & photo quality trumps the Epson Artisan 800 and HP Photosmart c7280( I know I returned both before getting it right with this printer). 5 year warranty, good customer service, easy to install. Just a well made, practical printer.

Cons: Paper loader only fits 100 sheets(not bad considering the Epson Artisan 800 only takes 2-3 sheets before consistently getting jammed), and perhaps it's a tad slow but you can confidently leave the room and return with all your documents printed.

Summary: I needed Wireless, something with great picture and text quality, sub $500, and probably above all, a supremely reliable machine that can get the jobs done without any fuss.

"Nice printer, but with some issues" on by watermurf

Pros: Nice design, quiet while printing, good print quality

Cons: Slow to start printing, software driver bugs, some build quality issues

Summary: I loved this printer when I first saw it in-store...nice clean design, nice lcd, nice build quality. After purchasing and installing, however, it has some issues. The first thing that I noticed was the delay before printing. When you hit "print", there is a noticeable delay before the printer loads the paper and the printing actually starts. The lag seems independent of the software, since this happens regardless of whether I'm using Word, Open Office, or my accounting software. Tech support indicated that this is simply a characteristic of this printer. There is also a known bug in the software driver. With my XP setup, printing envelops in Draft Mode results in text that is very light and faded in color. Other print quality modes work fine, but since I print many of my business documents in Draft, this is a problem. Tech support was able to replicate the problem when I called about it, but they were unable to determine when they might have a fix. Too bad...other than these two issues, I really like the printer. Also, Lexmark tech support was pleasant to deal with, even though they were unable to fix my printer's problems.

"The best All-In-One I've ever had!!!!" on by whippetone

    Pros: I love:
    Double sided printing!
    Auto-Document feeding!
    Seemingly endless Ink supply!
    5 YEAR Warranty!

Cons: I've yet to try faxing, but I don't atticipate a problem!
Also I'm not using it wireless so I can't comment on that feature either.

Summary: I have had 3 different AIO's over the past 4 years (an HP, Epson, and another HP) and all gave me no end of trouble! Poor print quality, streaks, or just not working at all (BOTH HP's after 13 and 16 months, just past the end of the 12 month warranty!!)
Prior to that I had a freebie Lexmark printer that came with my then new computer. The print quality was pretty bad (what can you expect for free!) but it was still working and I used it as my back-up printer when the other three expensive ones failed me! So I thought Lexmark, I?ll give one of their printers a try. Hopefully it will keep working like the freebie so I could get my monies worth this time!
I went on cnet (Indispensable resource I always consult FIRST!! Thanks cnet!!) looking for an AIO printer they rated as ?good? or better that was preferably a Lexmark? The X7675 came up as their best AIO for my price range. I found one on sale at Office Depot, bought it, and gave it a try.
Set up was almost too easy! Right away I was printing great quality prints very fast! I know some reviewers thought the speed was slow, and I?m not a home business owner so for that crowd it might be true, but not for me; a disillusioned personal printer user who needed a die-hard work-horse! The speed was faster than all three previous AIO?s even though 1 HP cost considerably more than the Lexmark!
Scanning is easy and perfect and fast! The auto feed copier feature is really handy and makes getting copies very simple! Also now I won?t need to run to Kinko?s to fax documents any more paying $1.50 a page. (None of the other AIO?s even had fax capability!)
Then a big print job came up? I had a 300 page document that needed to be printed and so I sighed and sent it to the X7675 expecting severely depleted ink reserves after the job? I selected two sided printing (big paper savings there!) and sent it to print!
I didn?t need to baby sit the process, if fact I wasn?t even at my computer for the main part of the job? And it was done in no time!
Great quality printing, no paper errors, and I didn?t need to touch even one page to facilitate the two sided printing! But then I went to check on my ink levels?.. And to my huge shock the levels where still down only about 7%!!! In the other AIO?s if I?d had a print job like that it would have cut reserves in half!!
I?ve also never had a paper jam, or ink malfunction, or other bothersome little troubles that make you want to SCREAM! Now if this one holds up like the freebie Lexmark I?ll be happy?.

But wait!... Even if I DO HAVE a problem with it, the X7675 has a 5 YEAR WARRANTY!! That alone makes this printer I00 times better than any other printer I?ve ever had!! Go out looking and you won?t find any kind of warranty like that for this price on the market!! I guess next year I won?t have to go looking for yet another printer after having one fail?

"Delivers with Best in Class On-line Service" on by IodineHead

Pros: Performes as advertised. Troublefree double-sided printing. Ease of installation. Simple user interface.

Cons: Not designed for heavy use, e.g. double sided printing of a 50 page document must be done in 2 batches.

Summary: Would purchase again. Delivers multiple functions in a relative tight package. Software is not intrusive. Installing is painless. On-line assistance is immediate (really, they answered on the 1st ring).
