"I have more customers return these printers than any other"
Pros: Has lots of features: The ink system, media card slots, fax machine, are also big selling points.
Cons: Things that are not good selling points are the build and print quality. The only other printer that gets returned more then this one is the Brother MFC-210cn. Brother inkjet printers are worse than lexmarks. If your needs are exteamly basic this might

I'm so disapointed in these reviews. I chose this as my next printer mainly b/c of the separate ink cartridges. But now that I'm reading more about it I don't know if it is right for me. I have a Dell AIO 926 printer and it worked great for a few years until recently. I hate that! Products should last a little longer, perhaps at least 5 years. Ya know?!

Take time to read the manual and know all the settings... It's obvious you are lacking. The printer is a wonderful printer and you would have less returns if you took the time to know how to sell it.
But I guess you make more commission off of a $400 HP unit that is compariable so that's what you want to sell. I have worked in a commissioned sales floor consumer sales outlet before and know exactly how the game is played. There are a lot of quality products that are NOT sold due to low margins, no profit and they are not "SPIFF"y (SPIFF is the term for bonus commission $$ paid to your salesgeek.)
I am glad I am out of the business now... and I own this printer and love it. -
The only HP printer I've owned is my current HP officejet 6110. It will be my last HP - it's been nothing but trouble. You may have shyed me away from Brother, but I'm not impressed by your alternatives.
