"Like a disposable lighter...it works well for a while."
Pros: I love the ablility to scan whole trays of photos at the same time and have the software recognize and save each individually. Good, reasonably fast for the home text/casual graphics printing.
Cons: Short life-span; 18 months for mine. Expensive ink; to replace the BW and color ink was 86% of what I paid for the machine in the first place.

"Worked great for 2 years. HP lost me, now Canon has."
Pros: Good scanner, nice printer and copier. Relatively fast printing.
Cons: Paper feeder won't accept hard stock. Paper has to go around a roller. Would have liked to be able to print on poster board (new requirement).
