"Very disappointed"
Pros: easy set-up, intuitive interface
Cons: print quality absolutely sucks
Summary: After doing much research for a multifunction printer that does great photo printing, we settled on the MP960. CNET's great reviews were a large factor in the decision. After setup and printing a photo, it was MUCH more grainy than the cheap HP photosmart printer it replaced. We have been unable to find any settings that make an impact in changing the poor quality and the cannontechsupport.com website is just a large ad. full of links to other websites and distributors. Very disappointing.

You mention that visiting http://cannontechsupport.com/ was disappointing, as it was all ads ... but you simply spelled the URL wrong. It's Canon with one 'n,' not two.
Visiting http://canontechsupport.com/ correctly routes you to the proper page on Canon's support site.
And for the record, I find color prints from this printer to be essentially flawless, so I'm confident there's just something wrong with your individual unit, not all of them.
