"What A Piece of Work!"
Pros: Its ability to copy large jobs
Cons: Its a piece of junk!
Summary: Purchased. Received machine. Fax modem broke within 24 hours (machine would ring on incoming fax but would not pick up automatically, only manually). Sent back. Received brand new machine as replacement. Fax modem broke again within 30 days (same problem). Didn't bother to send back since it cost me $80.00 each time b/c the machine is large. I bought a $100 HP inkjet to use as a fax machine and continued to use Samsung for printing, copying and scanning.
I use the "Courier New" font on Wordperfect for printing my correspondence. I noticed that some of the words in the letters were faded when I printed. I called Samsung and explained this problem. Samsung said there was a problem with the softwares compatibility with Wordperfect and that they had received other complaints. Samsung said they had no fix and told me to just select another font for my letters!
Then, just yesterday (7/20/06), only 15 months after buying this product, the machine (while not even using it) started making noises like it wanted to warm up to print and then seconds later it DIED!!! I mean absoultely nothing works. It wont even turn on! BUYER BEWARE!
