"it was cheap and i got what i paid for."

Pros

It was cheap. It connects via USB. Scanner/printer takes the place of 2 desk items. It was to replace a much loved and still working flatbed-scanner which was so old it didn't connect via USB, sadly.

Cons

Controls are less than user-friendly, in fact they are so confusing I still can't figure out how to work it. I still can't figure out how to change the resolution of a scan, if it is even possible... I HATE THIS SCANNER.

"Does what it says on the tin"

Summary

I bought this printer in an office emergency for aprox ?70 - ?80 about 18 months ago. Since then I've had absolutely no problems with this printer what so ever. Despite it's limited capabilities this printer does exactly what it says on the tin, which cannot be said for most other multi function printers. Even though you can only scan one page at a time, the quality of the scanned document is very good and ready to be emailed as a pdf. I have no issues with the print quality (all of my printing is excel and word - no photos) and the replacement cartridges are less expensive than others.

This is a stirdy little printer that does exactly what it was built for - print, scan and copy.

Very easy to operate, and good printing quality

Expensive catridge price

Summary

The main advantage for this printer is it uses separate catridges, so you just have to change the empty catridge and this really saves cost to buy the whole catridges.
