  • "If you're in the market and don't get this one, SORRY!"
    on by TJ312012

Pros 1: Decently fast (faster than usual inkjets)
    2: Photo quality is SUPERB
3: Wireless setup is a breeze if you just follow the directions carefully
4: By 4x250ml INK REFILL KIT to get 30-40 ink refills.
    5: Duplexing!
    6: Automatic Printhead ALIGNMENT!!!

Cons 1: Ink cartridge replacements are expensive, Read #4 in PRO.
2: May not be the fastest printer out there, but surprisingly fast to me for the cost.
3: Really can't think of anything else...

Summary well I didn't get to explain EVERYTHING above, so...

This thing has automatic duplexing where it will print one side, pull the page back in, flip it around, and print the other side. It works great.

The Printhead alignment system is new to me. And it seems to work flawlessly. You print an alignment sheet, and then you lay it on the scanner bed, and it scans it and aligns the printhead automatically.

Also, I've had ONE jam in the printer first time I tried to do the duplex printing. It was so easy to unjam that my jaw dropped. On the back of the unit, there's a barrel that easily opens if you push it to one side (very light push, not hard at all), once you open it, you just pull the jammed paper out, and close it, you're back in business. It's like that of a xerox machine :P but even easier.

With that being said, I'm going to reference my title again.

"If you're in the market to buy a new printer, and you don't buy this one...." SORRY it's your loss.

I've seen some people call this a "Competent BASIC Printer", That's BS. This printer is FAR from it. Probably the furthest from it of any inkjets in it's class up to $200

This printer deserves every ounce of a 5 star rating, and that's what it's getting from me.
